Als Friedrich Wilhelm I. im Jahre 1713 an die Regierung gelangte, entdeckte er in der Hufenveranlagung in der Neumark, welche die Grundlage der Besteuerung bildete, grobe Fehler. Er veranlaßte daher eine Revision der Landkreise, bei der für jedes Dorf ein Fragebogen auszufüllen war. Dem Klassifikationsbericht von 1718 ist das Ergebnis der Feststellung von 1658 beigefügt. ...

In the year 1713, when Friedrich Wilhelm 1st became regent, he found out severe mistakes in the assessment of the hide of lands in the region of NEUMARK. The assessment was basis for the taxation. He gave orderes for a revision of the counties, thereby for each village a questionaire had to be filled out. The report of classification of 1718 is accompanied by the result of the census of 1658. ...
